FONT

Definition

The font shorthand property sets all the font properties in one declaration.

example: times new roman, verdana, arial, georgia

The properties that can be set, are (in order): "font-style font-variant font-weight font-size/line-height font-family"

The font-size and font-family values are required. If one of the other values are missing, the default values will be inserted, if any.

Difference Between Serif and Sans-serif Fonts

Serif -Serif fonts have small lines at the ends on some characters

example--Times New Roman-- NOOR EDAYU
--Georgia
--- NOOR EDAYU
Sans-serif- "Sans" means without - these fonts do not have the lines at the ends of characteRS

example --- Arial--- NOOR EDAYU
--Verdana-- NOOR EDAYU

Font Style


  • normal - The text is shown normally
example: NOOR EDAYU
  • italic - The text is shown in italics
EXAMPLE: NOOR EDAYU


  • bold- the text is shown more thick
example: NOOR EDAYU
